Hello, My Precious Reign

The Summer edition of My Precious Queen Contest is over. I am still in hard excitement for being chosen as My Precious Summer Queen 2011! This competition was a gorgeous experience for me and all the contestants who did a great job at the final. I am very proud of everyone who took part of it and gave their best during all this edition of My Precious Queen Contest!

Fashion and style are a unique way to express personality and to be special in the crowd. Agnes Finney has given us a chance to show our beauty, style and elegance in her delightful and high detailed designs. Being My Precious Queen is not only a matter of title, but also recognition and an honorable reward for our efforts during the contest. As Queen, I expect to bring all my best to My Precious Fashion House, representing it with all the elegance and sophistication that it demands, and bringing Agnes Finney’s amazing designs a unique touch of style and life. From now to December, I’ll be monthly sharing with you in this space my style tips and touches with My Precious outfits! And I promise to bring you the best of this amazing fashion house!

My Precious April Show Tomorrow Night!

Each month, Agnes Finney of My Precious hosts a Saturday evening show highlighting some of the top picks of the season in new releases and classic favorites. Come out to the My Precious Grand Amphitheater and see April's show this Saturday evening at 4 p.m. SLT to see a beautiful selection of gowns perfect for this spring season. The show features our My Precious models and is the debut show for two new models to join our family, Linda Reddevil and Emarose Starfiare and is sure to be magnificent. Don't miss it!


Catherine is one of the latest in Agnes Finney's lace collection, and it was a favorite for me before it even ended up in my inventory. The lace texture of this mermaid style gown is a wonderfully detailed pattern, characteristic of the typical beauty of Ms. Finney's lace gowns. The skirt prims flare gracefully at the hem of the dress, and Catherine offers two sleeve versions, a sculpted satin sleeve and one fashioned from layers of wispy chiffon.



Both sleeve versions are shown here, and as you can see, Catherine doesn't disappoint when it comes to variety, as this gown can be worn in several different ways by combining the skirt options with the different sleeve possibilities. Catherine is one of many gowns scheduled to hit the runway tomorrow evening, and it will be available in the vendor area of the courtyard as well as in the main store. Satin Nights: Cass by My Precious

Cass is one of the latest in a series of beautiful gowns released by My Precious. Sexy and fitting like a glove in deep scarlet and rich black editions, this sensational gown hugs every curve from the lace at the bustline to the mermaid skirt that flares at the knees in the long version.


Like the majority of the gowns purchased with the full package of options, Cass can be worn in a variety of ways: there are a center collar and both upper and lower sleeve attachments in luxurious ebony prim feathers, long gloves, a black bolero-type jacket, and a long and short skirt, both featuring a deep thigh slit. There are also a pair of sexy black thigh-high stockings included.

Sophisticated Silence

Silence, a recent release from Agnes Finney's My Precious design house, is a classic black and white silk and lace ensemble with three gorgeous skirt options. From full and formal to a svelte, form-fitting version, Silence offers both versatility and sophisticated style.

Shown first below is the floor-length couture skirt, and like the bodice, the skirt is made from layers of billowy white silk with an overlay of an intricate black lace. When you move, this skirt offers beautiful flow like so many other My Precious gowns.


Next shown is a similar but knee-length version of Silence, featuring the same bodice and detail in the layered skirt.

Remove both skirt options and wear the sexy system skirt, a black lace layer that fits your curves like a glove. Any of these fabulous options are sure to turn heads and make quite the impression when you enter the room.

Golden Glamour and My Precous March Show

Looking for a great way to spend your Saturday evening? Don't miss the March My Precious Fashion Show! See some of Agnes Finney's most dazzling creations at the My Precious Grand Amphitheater where the runway will become a showplace of exquisite high fashion gowns and dresses. After the show, take a peek at the vendor area in the courtyard or teleport over to the main store and take something (or several somethings!) beautiful home with you!

Glamour, a recent release from My Precious, is a golden dream and is one of the gowns to be featured on the runway at tonight's show. This sleek, sexy gown fits like a glove from the heart-shaped neckline to the mermaid skirt, and it comes in several variations. One variation features the mink fur wrap, seen in the image below, a luxurious addition that adds an extra element of glamour to its namesake.
Glamour can be worn without the wrap, as well, and is just as sexy with the pale golden ruffles that enhance the decollatage of the gown.

Lastly, for a daytime event or cocktail party, the short version of Glamour is a perfect selection. The short skirt has ruffled accents that complement the top of this classic golden design. Glamour, to me, is reminiscent of that Old Hollywood style, something I'd wear on the red carpet if I were to ever be nominated for an Oscar. Sadly, I never made it to Hollywood in RL, but I can still feel like a red carpet diva in this amazing gown!

Precious Moment

Precious Moment is another heavenly creation from My Precious, the house of Agnes Finney. With shades of pink and pure white and the floral theme, this gown is a lovely addition to the spring collection.

Precious Moment features a pink corset style bodice with white piping on the front and white ribbon lacing on the back. The gown comes with two full skirts, one with more opaque layers and the other a touch more transparent, both offering multiple layers of gracefully floating tulle-like fabric. Another special feature of Precious Moment is the scattering of pretty prim roses and petals adorning the skirt, making this gown a perfect complement to your spring wardrobe and a gorgeous creation that can even carry you well into summertime.


Keeping with the theme of spring roses, I paired this gown with the Queen Rosie set from Alienbear Designs.

Gorgeous Diantha

Diantha is a recent release from My Precious and has risen right to the top of my list of favorite Agnes Finney gowns. Available in black, white, and a rich red tone, as shown here, Diantha is pure regal sensuality from the lace prim collar and upper bodice to the sheer piece that graces the midsection, ending with the super sexy open skirt.



The beautiful, graceful flow of the full skirt can't be captured adequately in a photograph, so because of that and because I do not know how to create a video, you will have to take my word for it. I put it on and walked. And walked. And walked. Diantha is poetry in motion and is sure to become a hot seller.


Alienbear Design's Aphrodite Queen Set in Red seemed like a natural choice to complement this gown. Alienbear Gupte just released a new necklace option and several color choices in the Aphrodite set, none of which should be missed!

Make a Wish

Today, My Precious Design House released Wish, the latest of several new February releases. Wish, a dress made from delectable lace, is available with two skirt options: a full skirt that falls gracefully just below the knees, and a short and sassy mini version, and features a sculpted collar with a floral broach that fastens at the throat. Lace ruffles at the bottom of the 3/4 length sleeves add an extra dash of sophistication to this fantastic dress.

Worn with either skirt option, this is a versatile piece that is easily styled into a variety of different looks. Wish is available in black or white, and for those who do not want to choose, the Wish Supreme version is available with both colors and both skirt options for each color. I've paired both versions with hair from Lyrique Hats and Hair, some of my favorite releases in hair of the season so far. My Precious February Fashion Show Tonight!

Don't miss the My Precious February Fashion Show being held this evening at the My Precious Grand Amphitheater at 5 p.m. SLT. Tonight's show features new releases, classic favorites, and special edition designs from Agnes Finney's collection of elegant, sophisticated formal and casual wear. In addition to the show, check out the vendor area in the courtyard which offers all of the show gowns and others, beautiful Lyrique hair created by Precious Lyric, and don't forget to pick up the February dress offered at a special L$10 price - always a steal!

Among many of the gorgeous gowns being featured in tonight's show is the special February release of Butterfly Empress, a beautiful pink gown that hints at the coming spring season. Butterfly Empress begins and ends with lace, from the lace piece at the top of the bodice to the bottom half of the flared mermaid style skirt. The body of the gown accentuates the curves of the one who wears it, fitting like a glove. An additionally beautiful characteristic of Butterfly Empress is the back piece with wings and a train in delicately patterned shades of rose. This focal point of the gown floats gracefully with each movement and helps to make Butterfly Empress quite a showpiece and a must-have for spring!

For the Love of Melissa

A recent release from My Precious, Melissa is a gorgeous creation with several layer options. Among many characteristics I really love about this gown, one of my favorite things is the ultra-feminine gold lace found at the top of the bodice and in the second skirt option, shown below. The lace tiers of finely spun golden lace shows but a hint of leg behind the translucent fabric. The front of the bodice is decorated with three delicately embroidered golden butterflies. A luxurious feather boa and black elbow-length gloves are also included with this ensemble.

But Melissa's options don't stop there! Another skirt option is included, one that shows a lot more than just a peek of skin. The open skirt, shown here in a deep black and gold embroidered translucent silk, bares you from hip to toe, providing a daring glimpse of flesh for your sensual side. This image below was taken for last weekend's My Precious Spring Collection Show presented by Boulevard Agency, which was a fun and extremely memorable experience for me!

La Rose for Your Valentine (or for You!)

As a girl with a deep love for the type of glamorous fashions worn by Hollywood starlets from the 1940's through the 1960's, I often find myself looking for the same sort of flavor in my clothing selections here in-world. In the newest release of Agnes Finney's La Rose 3 paired with the Xandrah hair by Lyrique shown here in noir, I feel like I'm stepping right out of an old movie set.

This is the third release of La Rose, shown here in a bold black and red. This version of La Rose is created in a black fabric with a sateen sheen, featuring a delicate rose print. The deep red prim rosette on the shoulder contrasts the black bodice which is fitted at the waist with a wide red satin band. Large rosettes adorn the full skirt that falls just at the kneeline, and a pair of red elbow-length gloves serves as the perfect finishing touch to an outfit that will draw the attention of everyone in the room when you enter. I've accessorized here with Cuban Heel Pantyhose in Black from No. 9 Nylons, Stiletto Moody's Bare Lauren in Red, Bloody Queen Rohesia Earrings in Dark Red from Alienbear Designs, a red rose hair ornament from Truth, and as previously mentioned, the Xandrah hair from Lyrique. Queen of Dreams

I am a girl who has had a long and serious love affair with feathers, so imagine my delight when Agnes Finney came out with this fabulous and feather-rich white piece of heaven aptly named Queen of Dream Supreme.

The form-fitting bodice and matching gloves of this gorgeous piece are created from a very detailed, beautiful white lace. Queen of Dream also has two skirt options, a short and sexy skirt or the longer and luxurious feather train. This lovely creation can be worn with or without the sleeves or the separate feather chest attachment for a more bare look up top. I have wanted a reason to wear this gorgeous Mayur jewelry set in Mystic Teal from Alienbear Designs, and I felt as if in this case, the colors would be a beautiful contrast against the white feathers.

Timeless Elegance

The last couple of weeks have been a whirlwind. I am always sad to see the holidays pass by, but I've had my hands full with newness, in both RL and SL. Included in part of this has been an interview about the My Precious Queen final in AVENUE Magazine, which you can read here. The article features not only myself, but beautiful photos of all of the finalists, as well as words from the 1st Runner Up, Genevieve Kamala and the 2nd Runner Up, Cieleste Magic.

As My Precious Queen 2011, I thought one of my first tasks here should be to give a short introduction about who I am. I emerged in-world in February of 2008, almost two years ago, and very soon after, it became apparent that I was going to need to find some way to make a living in order to support a burgeoning shopping habit. I decided early on that I wanted to pursue the option of opening my own photography studio and I started small while I worked as a DJ. In the fall of 2009, I took a leave from online communities for a period of time to devote more time to some RL changes, and when I returned in the spring, I was visiting some of my favorite designers' shops and Agnes Finney's My Precious was one of the first places I returned to. Upon my return, I noticed the board advertising the contest, and as a photography project, I decided to enter. The rest, as they say, is history.

In addition to my modeling career, I am also the owner of X::Factor, my photography studio, and I am a writer for AVENUE Magazine. I enjoy dabbling in photoshop, checking out the live music scene in-world, and exploring all of the creative sims out there. I am also a hunt addict and can become a little hunt-obsessive, many times insisting on doing the hunt from beginning to end in a couple of sittings. I love meeting new people, and I can say with all honesty that the best thing to come out of not only my time as a model but the My Precious Queen contest has been the opportunity to cross paths with so many wonderful people.

During my early days in SL, I found myself at a formal ball, and there was a woman at the ball that I am sure drew the attention of everyone. I couldn't tear my eyes away from her. She wore a deep red gown in a luxuriously textured fabric reminiscent of lush velvet that featured a jaw-dropping, daring plunging neckline, and I had to have it. Goddess in red became the first My Precious gown in my inventory, soon to be followed by many others. One of the wonderful characteristics of My Precious gowns is their timeless quality and versatility, making them terrific choices for many occasions. I still love Goddess as much as I did the first night I wore it.
